Too many Blue Falcon Generals.

I have an ROTC friend who isn't a General but he'll be up for consideration for a 1 star promotion in the next year or so. When I talk to him privately he tells me he is deeply worried about the disruption female Soldiers cause being added to combat units, resentments he sees building up over special treatment homosexuals receive and the pointlessness of having transgender Soldiers who will likely not be doing much of anything useful due to the constraints of surgeries and therapies. Despite this he's Johnny On The Spot on social media celebrating women allegedly completing SF and Ranger training, using rainbow flag filters during Gay Pride Month, etc.

Gotta get those stars and that nice retirement check...

An independent scholastic review of what is being taught and by whom at all the academies needs to happen like yesterday. Last I checked it was to prepare the next war leaders to defend our country and to actually win wars. While there is still some who get into the academies on merit there’s another group getting a congressman’s recommendation on connections or quotas.

To be an Officer requires an undergrad degree. To get higher in ranks and play the game requires a grad degree. Lt Colonel and higher starts getting into the realm of politics and networking for what they want as a future. In many cases they go to the same colleges that everyone knows are corrupted. Many have forgotten their oaths...

The feminization continues by sending guys to “Mental Health” aka therapy, whenever something is deemed bad. Get in a fight, shoot your buddy in the hand with a BB gun, and driving a quad in ones own backyard will all get you thrown into “Mental Health” if a beer was even looked at. Most of that crap used to get taken care of by Commanders and SNCO’s and now out of their hands.

One strike rule for many first term enlisted when rollback was still on.

If bored read physical fitness standards, mission statements, for the branches...Do we even defend our geographical place or we just count on Mexico?

Pregnant women have the opportunity to leave the service. Pregnant women shouldn’t be anywhere near combat, combat training, aircraft, hangars, ships, or anything else really but an office. The amount of environmental hazards is obscene.

Flight suits are not a utility uniform. They are specifically designed to be worn in flight and fire retardant. Shouldn’t be wearing them unless operating an aircraft and pregnant women should not be. Risking a baby’s life if they do.

Could go on all day about this... So I’m going to stop and check out the General crying about women’s rights in Afghanistan...

You’re spot on with your observations.

Beautifully written; this is so clearly correct. Thank you for framing the situation so well.

Retired as a Lieutenant Colonel, glad I did as I could never support the mob mentality. I'm using my military skills today though, for a much bigger fight.

Thank you for clearly stating what I wish I could.

The last war that the US had a determined enemy was the Vietnam war. Over 55,000 Americans died for no rational reason. Look up the Kasserine pass battle in WW2 when unserious and political American generals were creamed by Rommel’s Afrika Corp. (Not corpse, core). Dugout Doug had his field headquarters dug into a hillside 55 miles from the front.

“men you’d like to see dead anyway”? Advocating the elimination of political rivals?
