Nicely written article except for this expression: "pain in the ass". Please clean your language next time. You can do better than this. Unholy language doesn't go well with holy subjects.

Otherwise, I agree. I am a very big fan of the Book of Proverbs precisely for the fact that Intelligence seems to be aimless and doesn't save or set direction while Wisdom comes as a blessing from the Lord that informs someone of exactly how, where, and when to apply Intelligence effectively to do good.

My intelligence was my trap. It made my public school existence so easy. Never took a book home or had to study but went to my states flagship university on academic scholarship. Civil engineering. Needless to say my intelligence led me to nihilism. Throw in a couple of psychedelic experience that seemed like I was touching the hand of creation, I figured dropping out would be a good plan. That was mid 90s. I finally returned to planet earth in 2014. Survived a hand full overdoses. Not sure why I am sharing all this it’s just coming out. Thanks for sharing your intelligent wisdom.
