Everyone, including the above esteemed thinkers, want to believe that their works live after them. But as I approach life's end, I realize that virtually none of my ideas, thoughts, principles, acquired wisdom will survive me. The moment my brain goes out, all that knowledge will be lost. This is as it has ever been. A few of you will write a book that translates knowledge into the future, but even then few will read what you wrote. The future is overwhelmed by "new" ideas and concepts that override long term wisdom. Thus we see each generation making the mistakes of the past all over again. That is the way it is. Fritz
