The mask has become a symbol of obsequious obedience to technocracy. I wonder how the classes I took in advanced research design will be taught in the future. Will results be screened by a panel of government experts, much as the modeled data on climate change? Will they redefine "peer" in peer review?

I’m not so eloquent in speech, but I have not worn a mask in public for 6-8 months here in Southern California. I refuse to wear voluntarily so they have to chase me down to demand it. Mask nazis at Costco and elsewhere. This Delta fakery is just another means to gain control! I seriously have my doubts it actually exists. They have lied so much I don’t believe it is real. That or Lambda. I refuse to fall victim to their continued lies.

The names don't matter because they are just "tools" and "excuses" for taking control of individual actions and semi-indoctrinating us to accept that control. Useful statistical analysis would report (and blame) multiple underlying and pre-existing risk factor (obesity, illnesses, age and others) as the real cause of the deaths from the virus. I would lay odds that barely 50% of the reported COVID deaths are actually properly assigned. The others are from other illnesses, old age and the flue seasons (notice how suddenly no one died from the flue these last two years?). The comments about the lock-downs were right on point. However, ignored is the impact from the CDC "rules." In New Mexico, the lock-down(s) have been lifted, but Executive Orders still make masking, distancing, and reporting mandatory with up to a $5000 fine for failing to meet them. That continues the lock-down for HOA facilities and businesses that do not have the staff to enforce the rules. Further, in New Mexico, the Governor and the Legislature refused to indemnify or protect businesses and organizations from law suits claiming complicity in a person coming down with COVID...so openings are limited to avoid financial risk. Added to this nonsense (we used to have individual responsibility for our own health protection), is that all of the governmental actions arguably not only did not increase our collective safety, but made our lives more dangerous (sending COVID sufferers into Nursing Homes, delaying the development of herd immunity). If any truth at all surfaces in History Books, this will be recorded as a governmental debacle.
